Whispers
Whispers down from heaven,
Spoke of a tenderness of two.
Angel's hushed by a fingertip,
God's hand, their only view.

His words were short and loving,
As He broke the silence then.
Watch and learn and listen,
To the warmest thoughts of friends.

The angel's held their silence,
As they viewed the purest hope.
Daily thoughts of moments lost,
And the love that helped them cope.

They were witness to the loneliness,
Yet there was joy their words could bring.
The knowledge the two would reunite,
Was the hope to which they'd cling.

Their friendship was a rainbow,
With a unique and beautiful hue.
Again whispers down from heaven,
Spoke of a tenderness of two.
