"For Trini"

I glanced upon a tranquil sky,
A warmth spent from above.
No tears from heaven would we spy,
Only grace and love.

A feeling overwhelmed my soul,
And grief and pain subsides.
For only beauty can be found,
In the hands where she abides.

Although loneliness engulfs us all,
We must turn and greet the sun.
The spectrum of fond memories,
Of the matchless love of one.
