Pray For Albertine
Albertine is the aunt I have never met. My mother's sister. She was
born to my Grandmother first and placed for adoption. My family knew
nothing about her existence until a few years ago. They tried
contacting her, but the pain she'd experienced as a child must run deep
and she does not wish to have contact with our family.
I know her 3 sisters and 1 brother had nothing to do with the past.
They only wish to reach out their arms to her and hold her.
Today is my mother's birthday and I wrote a poem for Albertine that she
may never read but the words are there for her if only she chooses to
listen.For Albertine
You are with me in each of my heartbeats.
So cherished in every breath I live to take.
I have known you in my sweetest dreams.
Then love you more fondly when I wake.
When I cannot bring you such comfort myself,
I pray that the angels hold you near.
Until that moment for us, when our family unfolds,
And heaven's arms will guide you here.

Undisclosed Name
My mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease 5 yrs. ago. I pray for
her recovery although I know there is no cure, I'm still hoping and
praying for a MIRACLE. She worked so hard to give us a nice future
and I admire her so much for that. I pray for her. thanks, she is
our Angel. |

Please pray for the safety of our military troops
during this time of war. May the Lord protect them from harm and bring
them home swiftly and safely. I know many believe it shouldn't be
happening, but I truly think we lost so much in the terrorist act of 9/11
and we offered so many peaceful resolutions that were discarded, our
president had no other option. I grieve for families of those who
have lost loved ones. I pray that after the pain, they can find just
a little peace in their hearts, that they gave their lives so others could
live and know freedom as we have for so long. I know my views are
not shared by everyone, and I hope that those that disagree
know it is just just my opinion. But I have loved ones that are
facing the danger. And I know they enlisted so that if the time
came, they would defend this country and those that needed our aid.
God Bless you all, you are in my prayers.

Chris
My Dearest boyfriend Chris aged only 32 is the gentlest kindest man you
could ever hope to meet. From the first time we met we had an
instant affinity for one another.
I met Chris when I was going through the painful loss of my mother to
breast cancer when she was only 50. My loss was so great I shut the world
out however after meeting Chris he helped me to see there is a future and
while the pain never goes away you can find a gentler way of living with
it.
Chris and I last spoke July 13 when he was well and happy we spoke on the
phone as he lives in England and I'm in Scotland, we have known each other
nine months now and have so much planned for our future.
His dear dad called me July 14 to say Chris had collapsed and was in a
coma at first we were led to believe he had suffered a stroke but after a
fortnight a tumor behind his right ear was diagnosed. The tumor is
inoperable and the prognosis is not good.
Chris begins a 5 day treatment program tomorrow with a new Laser Beam
machine please we need your help Chris has 2 darling little and very young
children who need him desperately, I who love him with all my heart and
soul, his sister, mum and dad. This treatment is our last hope they have
to halt the growth of the tumor I am pleading to you with all my heart and
soul please please help Chris and please make him well again.
We all Love and Need him please help us xxx

myself more upset. Some people keep telling me it is no big deal but
it is. Nobody seems to know how I feel. Please pray that God

B and L
I am a young man (20s) and getting along really well with a girl of a
similar age. The only barrier to us becoming boy/girlfriend (pure
relationship) is that she doesn't find my looks appealing. Please pray
that she will find it in herself to overlook my "looks" and become my
girlfriend - everything is so right between us and we are so well suited. |
