Through her hand in motion, God speaks
to you.
For the words are not her own.
To lend ink to parchment in a fluid stroke,
Letting heaven's voice be known.
With a gentle prayer and wings unfolded,
A scroll and quill in hand.
She holds a tender hope to heart,
To touch the lives within God's plan.
Just a woman in an angel's guise.
Lit beneath God's ethereal light.
If you are still for now, the Lord will speak,
And His angel poet will write.

Just a little about myself.
My name is Wendy Kohlhoff. I am the writer and the web designer of this site Angelpoet.com. I began writing in 1982
when I was 12. I have always had a love of poetry. A few
years ago, I began to write Christian poetry. A lot centered
around angels. To this day I can't always remember writing what I
put to paper. I do feel a little like I am channeling God's words
rather than my own.
It's quite an experience to this day.
Today my life is focused on my family.
I am a married mother of 2 beautiful girls
Alycia 14 and Brittanie 9. They are my little miracles.
My husband Bill is the love of my life.
My love for poetry and my love of website designing hopefully show
through on this site. I truly hope it touches each life that views
it.
